Joan's Link Index

Updates: July 8, 2000
Set up the mirror site, however the entire site is still sadly in need of an update.
Warning!
This page has not had its links checked. I'm just trying to get the mirror site up quickly. PLEASE let me know which links do not work.

I've noticed a trend lately to put links on the page they're related to, rather than on a separate link page. While I approve of the idea, it has some problems. I once saw a link on someone's page, but when I went back for it another time I couldn't find it. I later refound it three months later, by accident. Therefore I've got an idex. If a link exists on my page, it'll be here too. So you don't have to try and remember which one of my pages you saw it on.

Use these to jump directly to the links section you're interested in.

Comic Strips

Did you realize that you can read newspaper comic strips online and not get the newsprint all over your fingers? And you can read strips your local paper may not carry. Of the three major syndicates I'm the most familiar with United Features, due to my needing a regular fix of For Better or For Worse. They keep an archive of a month's worth of strips and the strips go up a week after they've appeared in the newspapers.
